SPF 100 Please!

I haven't presented yet so I can't really give my reflections on my presentation in that sense. When I do present my power point on Monday though I hope that it gives the class a little insight to my semester. I have learned a lot at Converse just in a short amount of time. I have also met many new people and have gotten to know someone people better than I did. I don't think I have changed much since I got here personality wise because I'm still loud and random, but serious at times. But when it comes to the way I live it has changed a lot because I really do feel on my own now, plus I don't have the same activities to do as I did in high school. In high school, I was the social butterfly everyone knew and talked to. I was one of the main chorus nerds, was in almost every extra curricular club the school offered, and I had my schedule set. Now, I'm one of the "new kids" who is learning the basic of this new place and trying to get my schedule set like I had it before. I still want to be the social butterfly everyone knows and talks to, but it seems a lot harder in this school. It's funny that this "personal goal" of mine seems hard because Dorman is bigger than Converse. I can't wait though to see how these next 3 and a half years fold out before me. I have had the hardest time deciding whether to major in music ed or vocal performance. (Dr. Hay says I should do performance.) I want to teach, but performing is my life. I think I'll get my bachelors in music ed so I can be certified to teach and come back for a masters in performance.

  2. You know, you don't have to decide between Education and Performance right now--if you play your registration cards right, you've got a couple of semesters before you need to start signing on the bottom line. And yes, Converse IS smaller than Dorman, but it's COLLEGE, so it's in many ways more intense. But you're doing fine.
